Slow cooker pulled deer BBQ
– Deer roast 5 lbs. or more
– 1 can of your favorite beer
– 2 bottles of your favorite bbq sauce
Place roast in slow cooker, cover with all of the beer and 1 bottle of BBQ sauce. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Pull roast out of slow cooker, poor the juices into a bowl and set aside. Pull the roast apart using two forks then place the meat back into the slow cooker. Add the juices back to the shredded roast, stirring together adding only enough to create a consistency you desire. Add the second bottle of BBQ sauce, stir to combine. Turn the slow cooker back on low, let it warm for about 5 minutes. Place the shredded meat on your favorite rolls. You can add a spoonful of coleslaw or pepper slaw on top for a little extra kick.
