Great for game time or any time. You can brown and drain the meat while the bean mix is simmering. Ready to serve in 30 minutes… Submitted by Tim K.
– 1 lb. browned ground venison
– 1-box Zatarain (or other) black bean and rice mix
– 1 (28 to 32 oz.) jar of salsa
– Hot Sauce to taste
– Shredded Cheddar
– Sour Cream (optional)
Cook the bean mix according to the directions. Add the salsa and drained burger, then add the hot sauce. Cook it all over medium heat until its hot. Add desired shredded cheese. Sour cream optional. Serve with nachos or corn chips or with corn or flour tortillas.
