Legendary Whitetails 2/26/2013
Got this out of my moms homemade cook book, very good… Submitted by Chuck B.
– 6 slices of bacon
– 6 quail dressed
– salt & pepper
– 12 lb. mushroom caps
– 1 bunch green onions,chopped
– 3 Tbsp. butter
– 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
– 1 can orange marmalade
Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each quail; arrange in rows on heavy aluminum foil.
Season with salt and pepper.
Saute mushrooms caps and green onions in butter. Pour over quail.
Seal with double wrap. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
Combine remaining ingredients. Serve with quail.
